It was on his first voyage, in 1770 (while in the South Pacific region to observe the transit of Venus), that Captain Cook discovered the east coast of Australia. He later recommended Australia as a future British colony. The series was financed by $5 million from Revcom France, $2.25 million from the ABC and the rest from 10BA tax money.
Sternensommer is a German children's and youth television series that aired in 1981 on ZDF. The script for the series supplied Justus peacocks, was responsible for producing magnetic film. Originally 12 episodes were well planned, are ultimately for cost reasons, but only six were produced.
Space is a television mini-series created by CBS in 1985. It is based on a novel of the same name by James A. Michener published in 1982. The program is also called "James A. Michener's Space". Like the novel, the mini-series is a fictionalised history of the United States space program. The show starred James Garner. "Space" won three Emmy Awards, including an award for film sound mixing. It originally aired from April 14 through 18, 1985, and consisted of five parts running a total of 13 hours. In subsequent showings, it was cut to nine hours.

Super Robot Mach Baron is a Japanese tokusatsu series that aired from October 7, 1974, to March 31, 1975. It was a sequel to Super Robot Red Baron. Somewhere in Asia, the series was adapted into a 86-minute feature film which used footage from the original series. That movie was also released in Spain and Germany.
