Dogshitter Wants is a series of ten short cartoons broadcast during the early hours of the morning on MTV2. The programme was made by Matt Miller and Dominic del Torto in Flash. It is self-proclaimed, "Officially the most best insane cartoon." It was puzzling statements such as these, in particular, that helped it gain initial notoriety. It also sparked immediate controversy through its inflammatory name and subliminal content. Dogshitter Wants is a cult show and a vehicle for the surreal sketches and word play of del Torto and Miller. Although ostensibly concerned with jokes about cultural figures like Elton John & Michel Gondry, quite large parts of the show were impenetrably obscure, and were probably only fully understood by the creators and their immediate friends and associates, particularly those who were part of the dot com industry centred around Brick Lane in London, England. Dogshitter Wants, although only achieving minor commercial success, takes a small place in the peculiar tradition of English psychedelia and wordplay influenced by Lewis Carroll. The shows were produced in the Biganimal studios in the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. The music of alternate electronica band Add n to (x) feature in each episode, but were not broadcast by MTV2 for copyright reasons. The studio created original music for broadcast under the name Terrirer Sex Tantrum. The original music remains on the Dogshitter Wants website.
Who Wants to Be a Superhero? is a UK children's reality show hosted by Sam Nixon, Mark Rhodes and Stan Lee, based on the NBC Universal/Sci Fi Channel series of the same name. The show is a co-production between CBBC and NBC. Children aged 9 – 13 create and become their very own, unique, never before seen superhero characters for the series, taking part in missions and challenges and living away from home in ‘The Superhero Lair’ in London. Contestants responded to trails on the CBBC Channel and application forms on the CBBC website. It is unknown whether a second season will be made.

However, the original format of the programme is likely to date back to the TV programme Bauer sucht Bäuerin, which was broadcast in 1983 on SRG SSR idée suisse in Switzerland. The basic structure of the program is that a number of farmers are presented with women from the city, from whom they choose one to be their spouse. After its UK debut in 2001, the show had more than 10 localised versions around the world, with mixed ratings reports. It was the No. 1 television show for stations that aired it in Belgium and Norway, and was the highest rated entertainment show in the Netherlands. Premiered in spring 2008, the U.S. version of Farmer Wants a Wife consists of 8 episodes, during which 10 women are trying to be chosen by just one bachelor farmer. In this the U.S. version differed from the other international versions and it was more fictionalised. America's Most Wanted is an American television program produced by 20th Television, and was the longest-running program of any kind in the history of the Fox Television Network until it was announced on May 16, 2011 that the series was canceled after twenty-three years, with the final episode airing on June 18, 2011. The following September, America's Most Wanted's host, John Walsh, announced that the program would resume on the cable network Lifetime later that year. Presented by Walsh, the show's purpose is to profile and assist law enforcement in the apprehension of fugitives wanted for numerous crimes, including murder, rape, kidnapping, child molestation, white-collar crime, organized crime, armed robbery, gang violence, and terrorism, and also many of whom are currently on the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. On May 2, 2008, the program's website announced its 1,000th capture; as of March 30, 2013, 1,202 people have been captured because of AMW. Many of the series' cases have some connection outside the United States or have not taken place in the United States at all. The series' first international capture was in Nova Scotia in 1989. The show's nature does not allow repeats, except for updates on convicted criminals, and is preempted a maximum of eight times during the year; however, if a fugitive featured on the show is not captured, their profile may be aired again. However, since moving to Lifetime, the show aired several repeats with updates if the fugitive/missing person was captured/recovered.
Megan Wants a Millionaire is an American reality television show on VH1 in which former Rock of Love contestant Megan Hauserman has seventeen wealthy single men compete for her love. The show originated from a comment made by Hauserman during an episode of Rock of Love: Charm School, in which she stated that she ideally would like to become a "trophy wife". During the casting process for the series, VH1 asked for single men with a net worth of over $1,000,000. In February 2009, Hauserman stated in an interview that taping of Megan Wants a Millionaire had begun. Hauserman also stated that she was looking for "a mature guy that can handle me and doesn't cry" and stated "He doesn't have to be rich; he has to be stable." Hauserman said she would take the show seriously, it would be "very real". Megan's best friends, Brandi Cunningham from VH1 shows and Cecille Gahr were to appear on the show and try to help Megan with her decisions. The show premiered on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Broadcast of the program was suspended by VH1 on August 19, 2009, after it was announced that contestant Ryan Jenkins was being sought by police for questioning in connection to the murder of his wife, swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore. On August 23, 2009, Jenkins was found dead, of an apparent suicide, at a motel in Hope, British Columbia, Canada. On August 24, 2009, Megan Wants a Millionaire was officially cancelled by VH1. Early reports after the incident occurred indicated that Jenkins was a finalist in the series. It was later confirmed from a contestant's Twitter that Jenkins had placed third in the competition.
