Australia's Next Top Model is an Australian reality television series, based on a franchise that was created by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. It is produced by Granada Productions and broadcast on the Australian subscription television channel, FOX8. The series' objective is to find a promising but as-yet undiscovered Australian fashion Model and reward her with a platform to boost her chances of forging a successful career within the modelling industry. The series was last formerly hosted by Australian model Sarah Murdoch, who also served as lead judge and co-executive producer of the show for cycles five to seven. Jodhi Meares and Erika Heynatz also served as former hosts. An eighth cycle was confirmed for production and broadcast during 2013. Producers had to find a replacement host before production re-commenced. In April 2012 it was announced that the series would take a break for 2012 due to the fact that producers of the show were having trouble finding a replacement for Sarah Murdoch. It was announced on 19 November 2012 that beauty queen, model, and television personality Jennifer Hawkins was chosen as the new host for the ongoing eighth cycle.
Nigeria’s Top Model 2007 was a television event in Nigeria. Originally the show was planned to be a multi-episode reality competition such as the original format of America's Next Top Model. However, after an unsuccessful attempt to gain the rights for the franchise it was modeled as a competition that only lasted one evening. It took place on April 27, 2007. The event was held in London with prizes such as a contract with acclaimed agency Select Models and immediate booking for shows in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and others. Girls between 18 and 28 and who were at least 5'8 were allowed to compete. In a pageant-style contest with fourteen chosen girls competing in order to win the title of Nigeria's Top Model. In the first round the girls were narrowed down to six and with a second round resulting in the top 3 placements where Olabimitan Adeyinka took home victory. Given the big success the show enjoyed a second "Cycle" was planned but further plans did not surpass that stage.

On 6 January 2010 it was announced that Korean channel Onstyle would begin production of a Korean version of the model search show. Model Jang Yoon-ju would helm the judging panel as the host of the show. Season 4 will start in August 2013.

West Africa's Next Top Model was a planned reality documentary based on Tyra Banks America's Next Top Model which would have featured contestants from all West African countries including Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Liberia and Nigeria against each other in a variety of competitions to determine who would win title of West Africa's Next Top Model and a lucrative modelling contract with an international model agency in hopes of a successful future in the modeling business. The competition was supposed to be hosted by Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Onweagba. Auditions began in March 2009, but due to unknown reasons, the show never aired and was left without any TV station.
Suomen huippumalli haussa is a Finnish television reality show based on America's Next Top Model. The show first aired on Sunday, 6 April 2008 from 20.00 to 21.00 on the Finnish channel Nelonen. The show is produced by FremantleMedia. The winner for cycle one, Ani Alitalo, was awarded a €25,000 contract with Paparazzi Model Management, the front cover of Finnish Cosmopolitan and became a spokesperson for Max Factor. The winners for cycle two and three, also won the same awards, however there was no announced cash prize for the modeling contract, and there were two additional casting trips to Milan for Grundfelt, and a trip to New York for Kuokkanen as part of the prize.
Malta's Top Model is a Maltese reality documentary based on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model and is aired on Favourite Channel. The show places contestants against each other in a variety tests to determine who will win title of the new Maltese Top Model as well as a modeling contract with a small modeling agency and the front cover of a local magazine in hopes of a promising career start in the modeling industry. Claire Amato equals the role of Tyra Banks in the original series as the head of the search, and mentor for the chosen finalists during the competition. Other judges are casting director Alan J. "Jay" Darmanin and challenge organizer Jeff Francalanza. The show started with a casting recap after which 14 girls were chosen, however 14th contestant Maria immediately withdrew after the competition started. Each week the 13 girls that were living together on the same island faced challenges and a weekly photo shoot whereupon the judges chose to eliminate one girl per episode. In addition to this, the viewers could vote for their favorite girl every week per SMS. 17 year-old Audrienne Thaipend won the competition over 25 year-old old Sanaa Rizgalla. This version of the show is the second installment worldwide to feature a trans woman among its finalists after America's Next Top Model cycle 11 alumna Isis King. Each girl was supported by her own Maltese sponsor.

The show pits contestants against each other in a variety of competitions to determine who will win title of the new Serbian Top Model as well as a modelling contract with a Serbian agency and will land the cover of Grazia in hopes of a promising career start in the modeling industry. Serbian top-model Ivana Stanković equals the role of Tyra Banks in the original series as the head of the search as well as a mentor for the 15 girls that have been chosen to live in a house together in Belgrade. Together with the panel of judges which includes photographer Miša Obradović and fashion expert Nenad Radujević she will evaluate the girls in a weekly judging session following eliminations until only three of them are left. Cycle one started airing on March 16, 2011 and finished on June 6th. 18 year old Neda Stojanović from Raška won over Bojana Banjac and Milica Đorđević. During the show Neda was spotted by a French modelling scout backstage at Belgrade Fashion Week. As reward for her victory she won a modelling contract with a respected Serbian modelling agency, the cover of Grazia and an all-expenses trip to Israel.
Hrvatski Top Model is a reality documentary based on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model and is aired on RTL. The show pits contestants against each other in a variety of competitions to determine who will win title of the new Croatian Top Model as well as a modelling contract with an agency in hopes of a promising career start in the modeling industry. Croatian top-model Tatjana Jurić fills the host role of Tyra Banks in the original series as the head of the search as well as a mentor for the 16 girls that have been chosen to live in a house together in Zagreb. Together with the panel of judges which includes Borut Mihalić, Boris Bašić, Damir Hoyka and Boris Cavlina Jurić judges on the girls each week where usually one, but often two girls were eliminated until only 3 girls were left. Croatian Fashion Designer Marco Grubnic also had several appearances on the first Cycle to introduce the girls to the fashion industry and give them constructive criticism. After 14 weeks, Sabina Behlić was named the winner of the first Cycle beating Valentina Dropulić and Marina Jerković in the final. The show will return with a second Cycle in autumn 2010 with Vanja Rupena replacing Jurić.

The basic premise of the series is a group of young female contestants who live together in a house for several weeks while taking part in various challenges, photo shoots and meetings with members of the modeling industry. Normally, one poor-performing contestant is eliminated each week until the last contestant remaining is declared "The Next Top Model" and receives a modeling contract along with other associated prizes. The winner of the first season was 20-year-old Seraina Kazamias from Crete, Greece. The winner of the second season was 17-year-old Cindorella Toli from Athens, Greece.
