One of Nikkatsu Studios' most tedious filmmakers, Katsuhiko Fujii, who almost singlehandedly engineered the company's decline with the dreadful Dan Oniroku Hebi No Ana, directed this formulaic rape-revenge film. A maniac breaks into the apartment of two sisters (Rei Akasaka, Megumi Kiyosato) and abuses them sexually and physically until they turn the tables. Like many American entries in the subgenre, the revenge scenes come off as a somewhat cynical attempt to justify the sadistic nature of what came before, while the rapes are clearly meant to entice the darker elements of the trenchcoat crowd. Kiriko Shimizu co-stars.

During the time of the Stolen Generations, thousands upon thousands of Aboriginal girls were taken from their families and pressed into domestic servitude by the Australian Government. They were supposedly employed as servants, but with total control over their movements, wages and living conditions, their lives all too frequently became an inescapable cycle of abuse, rape and enslavement, with consequences that echo powerfully to this day. Recounting the stories of five of these women – Rita, Violet and the three Wenberg sisters – Servant or Slave is a commanding piece of first-person testimony to a dark and unacknowledged corner of Australian history. Shot with admirable craft and humanity by documentarian Steven McGregor (Croker Island Exodus, MIFF 2012), Servant or Slave is a work of great sadness and urgency, bringing to forceful life the human tragedy of Australia's Indigenous history in the unadorned words of those who lived it.
Original story and screenplay written by Oniroku Dan.

Slave to the Metal is an American television program on Fuse which premiered January 21, 2005. It was hosted by Juliya Chernetsky, known on the program as Mistress Juliya, who served as a therapist, answering fans' question on phone or voice message; however, a disclaimer during the show's opening stated that Juliya is not a professional therapist. Lying on a bed in a darkly lit room, Chernetsky frequently dressed in bondage attire and held a whip while giving advice in relation to sex, relationships, music, and other themes. Slave to the Metal ran a half hour, playing music videos in between Chernetsky's advice segments, which, in contrast to her previous shows, served as the main course of the program. Because of this, the videos, largely of the heavy metal genre, were often highly edited and shortened to make up for lack of time.
